Purushwadi is a small village located between Mumbai Nasik highway. During Diwali, celebrants light a bonfire and cook delicious local food, while the children go door to door and performing folk songs, act, dancing and finally asking every house owner to pour oil in their oil lamps.
Whole village is beautifully decorated with lamps, candle, and rangolis. Men generally chopping wood for the bonfiric activity and then men and women, together toasting your own barbeque delicious dinner on the bonfire.
