Facebook – How to Convert and Upload Normal photo as 360° Image

A lot of people asked me regarding the “How to convert a Normal image into a 360° Image and upload into Facebook“. As there are only few valid resolutions and camera Model/maker which can be detected as 360° Image by Facebook and can be uploaded as same. Below is the guide for you to edit and upload 360° Image on Facebook. For further query and solution comment on the thread.
1. Resize and cropping the Image

Open www.picmonkey.com or any other Image editing website/app

Upload image
-
Select Crop Option
-
Make the resolution to 6000 X 3000 pixel

Apply Crop
-
Save and Download the cropped image.
2. Changing Meta Data of Image
-
Open www.thexifer.net
-
Upload the croped image
-
Select eXif.me
-
Change the meta data as below
-
Make – RICOH
-
Model Name – RICOH THETA S
-
Select Go.exifing
-
Image is saved.
-
Download that image
3. Open Facebook in Desktop or Facebook app in IOS/Android phone

Go to Upload Photo Section
-
Put the caption as you like
-
Upload the image.
* For best result please use Panorama Image and Desktop compute for changing meta data of image.
